The company began operations in 2018 providing Logistics and Financial Support services to players within the industry. Leveraging our strong partnerships with internationally recognized companies like LITASCO – LUKOIL trading arm -, Vogvest Resources has since expanded in scope to include Oil and Gas Trading with the goal of fully developing the Exploration and Production business.
Since its inception, the company has established a network reach that has enabled us to deliver effectively in one of the most challenging sectors in Nigeria. Furthermore, we have an extensive credit line, backed by our global partners and are fully committed to compliance with the Nigerian Content Directive of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the Oil and Gas industry. How We Can Help
The Oil & Gas industry is constantly evolving with an increase in demand for crude products for economic performance.
- The issuance of Letters of Credit and Bank Guarantees for the Company’s purchases of crude and oil products and ensuring that both cargoes and storage facilities are financed and insured in a timely manner.
- Ensuring compliance with storage and commercial contracts in protecting the Company’s interests.
- Overseeing analysis, monitoring, mitigation, and awareness of the company’s financial risks.
- Carrying responsibility for the maintenance of the regional bank lines as well as serving as the Company’s main liaison with our Banking partners.
- Providing guidance to Finance Officers and Traders in difficult or unfamiliar situations.
- Making appropriate finance decisions, including overseeing cost-effectiveness, diversity of financing sources, and the minimum use of the Company’s own liquidity.
- Working with Deals Desk personnel to ensure any incurred costs agreed by Trade Finance are allocated correctly to the separately maintained deal Profit & Loss accounts.
